Prerequisites
There are no pre-requisites to begin the PRINCE2® Foundation. To attend PRINCE2 Practitioner training, you require PRINCE2 Foundation certification to be completed.

Exam Format
The Foundation examination is a 1-hour multiple-choice exam. The candidate must answer at least 33 of 60 questions correctly to pass the exam. Passing the Foundation exam is a prerequisite to completing the Practitioner exam.
The Practitioner examination is a 150 minutes multiple-choice exam. Open book(Only the official printed hard copy of the Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® 7th Edition is allowed.) The candidate must answer at least 38 of 68 questions correctly to pass the exam.

What is PRINCE2?
PRINCE2 is a process-based method for effective project management, and will give you the fundamental skills you need to become a successful project manager. It stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments, and is used and recognised all over the world.
PRINCE2 qualifications?
The certification is split into two different qualification levels – Foundation and Practitioner. The Foundation level is an introduction to the PRINCE2 principles, themes and processes. It teaches you how to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget, manage risk and mitigate perceived problems. The Practitioner level then teaches you how to apply and tailor PRINCE2 appropriately to address the needs and problems of a specific project scenario.

Is the PRINCE2® exam an Open Book test?
The PRINCE2® Foundation Exam is not an open-book exam.
The PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam is an open-book exam. You will need to bring your PRINCE2 training manual along for reference during the exam.
How do I select my preferred date for the exam?
When sending the request to take the certification exam, you need to mention the date on which you need to take the exam. This is the date on which you need to take the exam to ensure validity of the code.
